Welcome Back to the show!
Yes folks it’s the return of the BLOG! I started this at my last production company Fresh Farm Films and I’m looking to continue the running blog and I’ll be posting about our 2 count’em 2 new productions coming up. But first a little background on where the hell did we go?
I’ve been AFK for a while and a lots happened. I split off for my last production company after the release of our feature length movie Attack of the Mortapillerz! Then something amazing happened, my partner and his partner welcomed their first child!
After submitting this and a couple of other projects to Film Freeway, it was off to the festivals! You can check out the various festivals in the links provided on this website! Just click on the laurel and then BAM! you’re in festival land.
Last year our production Rest Stop to Knowhere was interrupted by my motorcycle accident on Mt. Hood. I dumped the bike and I just couldn’t believe that this is how I die. Falling off of a big mountain in Oregon. I guess the old gypsy lady was right. I received 5 crushed ribs and a lacerated spleen for my sweet ‘Oh Shit” scooter moves. ! A winter later I now own a pick up truck!
After all of that we are now back on track with a couple of productions we really think you’ll enjoy. The first is a new project, but from gathered footage from Rest Stop. Its called Melancholy Babe about a wise but deadly hit woman with some words of wisdom.
Next is a collaboration with a very talented local comedian. His name is Kerr (pronounced Car) and he rides a bike! He does a very very fun trivia stand up at the Hungary Tiger on Sunday nights. Check him out live!
We have come up with an idea for a documentary about the late 80’s and early 90s’. Its going to be a blast and Ill have more information in later posts.
For now I’m chilling in the back yard mapping out the camera blocking for our next shoot. It will be the climax of our current project and leaves us free to plan the filming of Gen-X : Tales of a Faded Generation.
